Frequently Asked Questions

What certifications does TRESAL hold for hazardous materials transportation?

TRESAL holds ISO 9001:2015 certification issued by NYCE S.C. (accredited by EMA), Kosher certification by KA Kosher (Vaad Hakashrut KA), and is an Active Member of CANACAR (Mexico’s National Chamber of Freight Transportation), registration ST-0602-1253. We also hold the annual SICT (Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation) authorization for transporting chemical precursors and essential chemical products, an important regulatory differentiator in the sector.

What is the Carta Porte complement and how do you ensure compliance?

The Carta Porte complement is a mandatory digital attachment to the CFDI (electronic invoice) required for all freight movements within Mexican territory. It includes detailed information about origin, destination, type of goods, vehicle, operator and route. At TRESAL we generate the Carta Porte complement in its current version (3.1) for every operation, ensuring complete traceability and tax compliance with Mexico’s SAT.

Does TRESAL transport food-grade and Kosher products?

Yes. TRESAL transports food-grade bulk products in food-grade stainless steel tank trucks, including vinegar, apple cider vinegar, glycerin and oils. Some of our rigid trucks hold Kosher certification issued by KA Kosher (Vaad Hakashrut KA), allowing us to transport products requiring this certification. Our washing centers and cleaning protocols ensure tank trucks meet the purity standards required by the food industry.

What is TRESAL’s geographic coverage in Mexico?

TRESAL operates across all of Mexico from two fully equipped operational bases in Cuautitlán Izcalli, State of Mexico (Greater Mexico City) and San Luis Potosí, both with yards, offices, mechanical workshops and tank truck washing centers.
