Hazardous materials transport company in Mexico
Specialized bulk transport of Class 3 and Class 8 chemicals in stainless-steel tank trucks, with verifiable regulatory compliance. Nationwide coverage since 1988.
TRESAL (Transportes Especializados del Altiplano, S. de R. L. de C. V.) is a Mexican hazardous materials transport company founded in 1988. As a specialized chemical hazmat transport carrier, we operate a fleet of stainless-steel tank trucks and a norm-trained team to move flammable and corrosive product safely and with full traceability across Mexico.
With an operating base in Cuautitlán Izcalli (State of Mexico) and a second full base in San Luis Potosí, TRESAL provides door-to-door service backed by ISO 9001:2015 certification and an SICT-licensed driver training center.
What we transport
Class 3: Flammables
Solvents, alcohols and flammable liquids in bulk, in stainless-steel tank trucks.
Class 8: Corrosives
Acids and bases handled with compatible equipment and safety protocols.
Bulk chemicals
Over 60 authorized chemical products, with material compatibility verified before every load.
Stainless-steel fleet
We operate stainless-steel tank trucks (SS 304 and 316L), rigid tankers and our own isotanks, selected by chemical compatibility with each product. Every unit undergoes scheduled maintenance and inspection that back equipment integrity on every trip, with our own tank-wash facilities at both bases to ensure purity between loads.
How TRESAL operates
Every hazardous materials transport service follows a controlled, end-to-end process:
- Compatibility check: we verify product compatibility with the tank material (SS 304 or 316L) before assigning the unit.
- Equipment assignment: we select the right tank truck or rigid tanker and confirm its previous load and last wash.
- Transport with traceability: norm-trained operators move the product with documentation and tracking.
- Delivery and unloading: we coordinate safe unloading at destination following the customer protocols.
Sectors we serve
We serve chemical and industrial supply chains across Mexico: chemical and petrochemical industry, water treatment, coatings and adhesives, and food-grade products that require dedicated tanks. Each sector receives equipment selected by compatibility and operators trained to handle its hazard class.
Nationwide coverage
Nationwide coverage from two complete operating bases: Cuautitlán Izcalli, in the Mexico City metropolitan area, and San Luis Potosí, a strategic hub in the Bajío region. From both bases we serve the country main industrial corridors, with tank-wash facilities at each one.

Safety and compliance
- ISO 9001:2015 certification (NYCE), current
- SICT-licensed driver training center since 2001
- Compliance with the applicable Mexican Official Standards (NOMs) for hazardous materials transport
- Chemical precursor notice filed with the SICT
- Emergency response unit with its own transfer equipment
Safety is the core of our operation. Our emergency response unit coordinates with fire departments and Civil Protection, and as SETIQ affiliates all units carry the emergency phone line for hazardous materials transport. See our guide on hazardous materials transport in Mexico for the applicable regulations.
