Stainless Steel Fleet
Our fleet is built with stainless steel grades 304 and 316L, allowing us to transport a wide range of products with the highest standards of purity and safety. Grade 316L provides superior corrosion resistance for aggressive acids and solvents, making it essential for pharmaceutical products, concentrated acids, and high-purity chemicals.
Tank Trucks (Autotanques)
Stainless steel tanker units for bulk liquid transport: chemicals, acids, solvents, oils, food-grade products, and purified water. Capacities from 12,000 to 45,000 liters adapted to each client’s volume requirements.
Semi-Trailer Tanks
High-capacity tank trailers (~78 units, 26,000–45,000 liters) for long-distance routes and high-volume operations across Mexico.
Rigid Trucks (Tortones)
Smaller capacity units (~26 units, 12,000–20,000 liters) ideal for urban deliveries, plants with restricted access, or partial volume loads. Some units hold Kosher certification.
Dry Box Trucks and Flatbeds
Dry box trailers (43–48 ft) and flatbeds (20–37 tons) for general cargo and palletized products that complement our liquid bulk transport operations.
ISO Tanks (Isotanques)
Intermodal containers for bulk liquid transport by road. ISO tanks provide a versatile solution for chemicals that require specialized containment during long-distance transport operations.

Preventive Maintenance Program
Every unit in our fleet undergoes a rigorous preventive maintenance program at our own mechanical workshops. Our maintenance centers in Cuautitlán Izcalli (Mexico City) and San Luis Potosí ensure that all vehicles meet the highest safety and regulatory standards before every trip.
Tank Truck Washing Centers
TRESAL operates two dedicated tank truck washing facilities — one in Mexico City (Cuautitlán Izcalli) and one in San Luis Potosí. Our cleaning centers handle interior washing of tank trucks following specific protocols based on the previous and next product to be transported, ensuring complete elimination of residues and contaminants. We also provide washing services for third-party units. Our washing processes are backed by our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system. Some units are certified for Kosher washing by KA Kosher (Vaad Hakashrut KA).

Frequently Asked Questions
Regulatory framework: Our transport and washing services comply with applicable Official Mexican Standards (NOMs), including NOM-002-SCT/2011 (land transport of hazardous materials), NOM-012-SCT-2-2017 (weight and dimensions), NOM-011-SCT2/2012 (physical-mechanical conditions) and NOM-004-SCT/2008 (vehicle identification system).
What types of liquid chemical products can you transport in bulk?
TRESAL transports over 60 bulk liquid chemical products, organized in three main categories: Class 3 products (flammable) such as acetone, toluene, ethyl acetate, hexane, methanol, styrene monomer and ethyl alcohol; Class 8 products (corrosive) such as caustic soda, glacial acetic acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid, acetic anhydride, formic acid and potassium hydroxide; and general cargo products such as vinegar, glycerin, monoethylene glycol and diethylene glycol. We hold the annual SICT authorization for transporting chemical precursors and essential chemical products.
What is the difference between a 304 and 316L stainless steel tank truck?
304 stainless steel (sheet) is used for transporting solvents, food-grade products and low-aggressiveness chemicals such as acetone, toluene, ethyl acetate and styrene monomer. 316L stainless steel (plate, thicker construction) offers superior corrosion resistance and is used for highly aggressive products such as caustic soda, glacial acetic acid, phosphoric acid, nitric acid, acetic anhydride, formic acid and glycols. TRESAL operates both types to provide the right solution for each product.
How is the interior cleaning of a tank truck performed between different product loads?
TRESAL operates its own tank washing centers at both operational bases: Cuautitlán Izcalli (Mexico City) and San Luis Potosí. Interior cleaning follows specific protocols based on the previous and next product, ensuring complete removal of residues and contaminants. This service is also available to third parties. Our washing processes are backed by our ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
What load capacities do your units handle?
Our stainless steel tank truck fleet includes rigid trucks with capacities from 12,000 to 20,000 liters, ideal for urban deliveries and tight spaces, and full trailers with capacities from 26,000 to 45,000 liters for intercity and long-haul routes. Additionally, TRESAL operates dry box trailers (43 to 48 feet) and flatbed trailers (20 to 37 tons) for general cargo and palletized products. We operate from our bases in Mexico City and San Luis Potosí with coverage across all of Mexico.
