TRESAL (Transportes Especializados del Altiplano, S. de R. L. de C. V.) is a Mexican hazardous materials transport company founded in 1988. As a specialized chemical hazmat transport carrier, we operate a fleet of stainless-steel tank trucks and a norm-trained team to move flammable and corrosive product safely and with full traceability across Mexico.

With an operating base in Cuautitlán Izcalli (State of Mexico) and a second full base in San Luis Potosí, TRESAL provides door-to-door service backed by ISO 9001:2015 certification and an SICT-licensed driver training center.

Stainless-steel fleet

We operate stainless-steel tank trucks (SS 304 and 316L), rigid tankers and our own isotanks, selected by chemical compatibility with each product. Every unit undergoes scheduled maintenance and inspection that back equipment integrity on every trip, with our own tank-wash facilities at both bases to ensure purity between loads.

How TRESAL operates

Every hazardous materials transport service follows a controlled, end-to-end process:

• Compatibility check: we verify product compatibility with the tank material (SS 304 or 316L) before assigning the unit.
• Equipment assignment: we select the right tank truck or rigid tanker and confirm its previous load and last wash.
• Transport with traceability: norm-trained operators move the product with documentation and tracking.
• Delivery and unloading: we coordinate safe unloading at destination following the customer protocols.

Sectors we serve

TRESAL serves chemical and industrial supply chains across Mexico. We transport in bulk the inputs each sector needs —with equipment selected by compatibility and operators trained for its hazard class—, including:

• Chemical and petrochemical — solvents, acids and bases for processing and formulation.
• Paints, coatings, inks and adhesives — acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, isopropanol, toluene, acetates and thinner.
• Plastics, PVC and resins — plasticizers (DOP, TOTM), styrene monomer and vinyl acetate.
• Pharmaceutical — process-grade isopropanol, ethanol, acetone and methanol, and glycerin.
• Textile — caustic soda, acetic acid and monoethylene glycol (polyester).
• Food-grade — hexane for oil extraction, soybean oil, vinegar and glycerin, in dedicated tanks.
• Cosmetics and personal care — sodium lauryl ether sulfate, glycerin, alcohols and glycols.
• Detergents and industrial cleaning — caustic soda, sodium lauryl ether sulfate and solvents.
• Automotive and metalworking — phosphoric and nitric acid for surface treatment, and monoethylene glycol for coolants.
• Tanning, leather and footwear — formic acid and acetic acid.
• Water treatment — caustic soda and acids for pH adjustment.
• Oil and gas — acetic acid for well stimulation.

Safety is the core of our operation.
